BBC ‘RIP OFF' BRITAIN NEED YOUR STORIES

Researchers from BBC1's Rip Off Britain (with Gloria Hunniford, Angela Rippon and Jennie Bond) are looking for people to get in touch and tell them about problems they have had with companies/services. In particular, people who are not camera shy and who have the paperwork/evidence to back up their claim.

Problems they are looking into at the moment include:

Water bills

Funeral costs

Utility bills

The cost of directory inquiry eg 188 phone numbers

Problems with online supermarket deliveries (food close to sell-by date etc)

Weekly payment stores eg BrighHouse - APR and service cover costs

Private Medical Insurance

People who have bought "HD Ready" TVs without realising they will need to buy extra equipment to actually get HD

Banks

Car problems…

And many more.
