SKY'S THE LIMIT FOR RA COUNCILLOR

The sky's the limit, or at least it will be on 15th May, when Cllr Clarence Barrett (RA, Cranham) leaps from a plane at 13,000 feet in a tandem skydive before parachuting down to terra firma.

The challenge will takes place at Chatteris Airfield in Cambridge and all monies raised will go to local charity First Step.

Cllr Barrett said: “With generous support last year, I managed to raise £600 for First Step when abseiling down the YMCA building in Romford. This year, I want to crank it up a notch and am aiming to raise at least a £1,000 for the Charity.

“First Step does fantastic work in providing support and guidance for pre-school children with special needs and their families. The least I can do is to jump out of a plane at 13,000ft!

“Any donations, however small, are very gratefully received”.

Cllr Barrett has a fundraising page at www.justgiving.com/cllrclarencebarrett where donations can safely be made. Alternatively please call 07863 116029 for other arrangements.
