An almost identical application to build a Retirement Village on the same site was refused last year as it did not demonstrate the very special circumstances required to build on Green Belt land. No planning application has been received by the Council as yet, but when a proposal is submitted the Cranham Residents' Association will hold a public meeting to address the issue Should residents have any questions relating to this issue please do not hesitate to contact any of your Residents' Association councillors Cranham Residents' Association councillors believe that preservation of our green belt is of vital importance. Development on our green and open spaces changes the character of an area forever and is something to strive to protect for the community and for future generations.
