June 5 6 & 19 20 ( 20 th June “Craft fair on the Mill field 11.00 to 5.00pm”)

Sept 4 5 & 18 19 (18 th & 19 th Sept. London Mini Open House weekend)

The Friends of Upminster Windmill give visitors FREE conducted tours of this
200-year-old windmill, which has most of its original wooden machinery in place.

Please note:

SENSIBLE CLOTHING and SHOES MUST BE WORN, as the stairs are steep.
The duty steward has the right to refuse a person entry.

We regret that owing to HEALTH and SAFETY we do not permit
CHILDREN UNDER 5 to be taken above the ground floor of the windmill.

CHILDREN 5 to 16 years old must be in the care of a RESPONSIBLE ADULT.

NO DOGS in the mill, except guide dogs.
